Our Bloom Woody Blend (50% Fresh Bloom and 50% hardwood fines) is a great all-purpose soil amendment for landscaping and gardens, which you can use as you would Leafgro or other compost. It is a soil conditioner made from EPA-certified Class A Exceptional Quality biosolids at Blue Plains, the world’s largest advanced wastewater plant. Bloom is an all-in-one concentrated product, providing the nutrients of a fertilizer and the organic matter of compost. Bloom works by slowly releasing into your lawn as it grows, providing nutrients (including nitrogen, iron for darker grass and green leaves and other micronutrients) over multiple seasons to stimulate consistent, healthy growth. It has a distinctive organic odor. It’s great for flowers, trees, grass and vegetables, and helps improve root and leaf growth.
